About FON summer school
FON Summer School is a five-day English-taught program organized by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON), the Republic of Serbia.
FON Summer School 2026 – Application of Business Analytics in the Green Transition is a program that offers final-year undergraduate and master’s students the opportunity to enhance their academic and practical knowledge in the fields of management, organization, information systems, and technologies, as well as to develop new skills for further studies and/or the professional environment, with a focus on the green transition and business analytics.
The program schedule is organized in such a way that, besides the time required for study, students will also have enough time to relax, practice friendship-oriented extracurricular activities, attend cultural events and explore the city of Belgrade.
Purpose, objectives, and tasks
The aim of the FON Summer School is to enable participants to enhance their knowledge and skills so that they can: make and justify data-driven decisions, including in situations where data are limited or incomplete; apply key business analytics tools and technologies in the context of the green transition; define measurable performance indicators, sustainable strategies, and priorities aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the principles of circularity; formulate and present a sustainable (circular) and innovative business solution, along with recommendations for its implementation.
The learning outcomes enable participants, upon completing the summer school, to: Explain the role of business analytics in the green transition; prepare and interpret analytical reports; define relevant KPIs; propose sustainability-orientated decisions and link them to the SDGs; translate the SDGs into measurable priorities and activities; apply circular economy principles when designing business solutions and evaluating options; develop and justify a sustainable (circular) and innovative business model; and present the solution through a clear pitch and compelling data storytelling.
Who is the programme for?
The summer school program is intended for the final year undergraduates and master’s students. The program is designed to best suit students with a Business, Management, Informatics background and similar STEM fields. However, the summer school also welcomes students of other fields and backgrounds. Prior knowledge is not necessary.
The program will help students achieve academic, professional, and personal growth. It is open to the students who are inquisitive and want to find out more about the topics covered by the program, but also to acquire necessary business skills. However, the program is also intended for the students who want to dive into a completely new field of interest.

All the participants get the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills, get insight into the future possibilities, develop a network of contacts and friends, experience living on their own away from home, enrich their resume with a certificate issued by a renowned faculty, attend a program at the most popular faculty of the University of Belgrade conducted by experienced professors and practitioners and get 3 ECTS credits after successful completion of the program. The number of credits is recommended by FON, but the validation of credits by their home universities is the responsibility of attendants.

The summer school program will take place on FON campus in Belgrade in the period 06-10 July 2026.
Fees
Summer school program fees:
Fee for partner institutions: €290 (Early-bird fee by 10 May 2026: €240)
Fee for non-partner institutions €340 (Early-bird fee by 10 May 2026: €290)
The price includes participation in all curricular activities – lectures and workshops, lunches and coffee, and two extracurricular activities (one of which includes dinner).
The price does not include: the cost of transport to Belgrade, local transport, accommodation, other meals, health insurance, visa, and personal expenses.

About Belgrade and Serbia
