Ivana Đunđek Kokotec

Ivana Đunđek Kokotec (scientist number 350701) was born on 24.01.1988 in Varaždin, where she finished her elementary and high school studies. She graduated from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in 2012. She received her PhD in 2020 by defending her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Influence of Institutional Investors on Corporate Governance in Croatian Companies” at the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. She is a Project Financing Advisor, Croatian Institute of Finance. She works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics Varaždin at the Department of Economics and Department of Organization, where she actively participating in conducting classes at the undergraduate, graduate and professional studies on the courses: Financial Institutions and Markets, Personal Finances, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Institutional investors. She is a member of the Entrepreneurship Laboratory. She has participated scientific conferences and symposiums at home and abroad, authored several scientific papers in the area of her interest: Corporate Finance, Institutional Investors, Financial Institutional and Capital Markets, Business Operations and Strategic management. Before joining Faculty, she was consultant at the consulting company Superna Ltd and lecturer at the European Institute of Public Administration in Barcelona where she gained extensive experience in the fields of Corporate and Public Finance, Business Process etc.
